Purex offers a range of spark arrestors designed to prevent sparks from entering the extraction unit.
These arrestors work by extinguishing hot sparks against the baffle plates, cooling them, and collecting the debris within the arrestor. To simplify maintenance, sections of the spark trap box are removable, making it easy to empty and clean.
To minimize airflow restriction, Purex provides two designs, selected based on the inlet/outlet diameter and airflow requirements.
The 80mm Inlet/Outlet diameter has been specifically designed to intercept and prevent sparks from reaching the extraction machine, thereby ensuring a safe and efficient extraction process.
