Welding Fumes
The 113513 as the best solution for welding fumes and solvent chemicals like thinners. (Lacquers: Acetone, Aliphatic Naphtha, Ethyl Acetate, Ethylbenzene, Methyl Alcohol, Methyl Ethyl Ketone, Toluene, and Xylene )
Most welding has whatever the metal byproducts are:
Aluminum, Antimony, Arsenic, Beryllium, Cadmium, Chromium, Cobalt, Copper, Iron, Lead, Manganese, Molybdenum, Nickel, Silver, Tin, Titanium, Vanadium, Zinc.
Plus Shielding Gas:
Argon, Helium, Nitrogen, Carbon Dioxide
Plus anything thermally generated by the process:
Nitric Oxide, Nitrogen Dioxide, Carbon Monoxide, Ozone, Phosgene, Hydrogen Fluoride, and Carbon Dioxide.
The Metals from the process would require a HEPA Filter.
There is not much we can do with the Shielding gas, these will pass through Carbon as do some of the thermally generated. If you had to use one, the 113668 is better than the 113513 because it has a HEPA…
Either way, you will still want a well-ventilated space and consult an industrial hygienist to be sure all health and safety concerns are being addressed.
Additionally if welding I would recommend a spark arrestor and metal pipe to the process.
